Welcome to FPT Cloud Documentation

FPT Cloud is the enterprise-grade cloud platform built and operated by FPT Corporation, delivering a full stack of infrastructure, data, AI and managed services from data centers in Vietnam (Hà Nội, TP.HCM) and Japan (Tokyo). This portal is the single source of truth for technical documentation of every service available on the FPT Cloud platform.

What you will find here​

The documentation is organized by product family. Each family contains the overview, quick-starts, step-by-step tutorials, troubleshooting guides and release notes specific to that service.

Compute​

  • Cloud Server (IaaS) — virtual machines, snapshots, security groups, block storage, SSO access, HPC-style fixed rental, and GPU servers managed through the Portal Console.
  • Managed FPT Kubernetes Engine (MFKE) — production-ready Kubernetes with cluster lifecycle, worker groups, GPU support, addons, autoscaling, Workload & Image security and audit logging.
  • FPT Container — fully managed container runtime, container registry and ingress.
  • GPU Container & GPU Virtual Machine — accelerated workloads with vLLM, Ollama, code-server and notebook templates ready to launch.
  • Bare-Metal Cloud — dedicated servers with RAID, custom networking, Subnet and Network ACL for high-performance workloads.

Storage & Data Protection​

  • Object Storage — S3-compatible storage with SDK / API references, lifecycle, versioning and multi-region replication.
  • File Storage High-Performance — POSIX-compliant NFS-style storage optimised for VM and bare-metal GPU servers, available in VN and JP regions.
  • Block Storage — persistent volumes for Cloud Servers and Kubernetes.
  • FPT Cloud Backup & Disaster Recovery — policy-based backup, restore workflows and cross-region DR.

Networking​

  • VPC, Subnet, Floating IP, Load Balancer — software-defined networking for all compute resources.
  • VPN Site-to-Site — managed IPsec tunnels with configuration recipes for Cisco, Check Point, Fortinet, pfSense, StrongSwan, MikroTik, Juniper…
  • Direct Connect — private circuits into FPT Cloud regions.

Security​

  • FPT AppSec — application security testing platform.
  • FPT Cloud Native Firewall — next-gen firewall with dashboard, firewall-management and network-access-rule-management workflows.
  • FPT CSPM — Cloud Security Posture Management for asset inventory, finding triage and compliance scoring.
  • FPT Cloud WAPPLES — managed Web Application Firewall, additional policy settings and log export.

Databases​

  • Managed FPT Database Engines — MySQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka and ClickHouse delivered as a service with HA, backups, proxying, IAM, monitoring and version upgrades.
  • FPT MongoDB Enterprise — dedicated MongoDB Enterprise distribution with deployment models, scaling, security and operations runbooks.
  • CDC Service — Change Data Capture pipelines between supported database engines.

Data Platform​

  • Ingestion, processing, storage and visualisation for analytics and data-engineering workloads.

AI Factory​

  • AI Studio — Model Fine-Tuning, Model Serving, Interactive Sessions for model evaluation, and end-to-end pipelines.
  • AI Infrastructure — GPU Container, GPU VM, Managed GPU Cluster (Kubernetes) and Metal Cloud for training and inference.

Integration & Observability​

  • FPT Integration — connectors, message queues and event-driven integrations.
  • FPT Cloud Monitoring — metrics, logs and tracing across services, Grafana-backed dashboards.
  • Incident Management — incoming webhooks, configurable integrations, incident routing and post-incident workflows.

Billing​

  • Account setup, payment methods, invoices and budget alerts.

How to use this portal​

  1. Find your service in the left-hand sidebar. Services are grouped into top-level categories: Cloud Server, Container, Storage, Network, Security, Database, AI Factory, Monitoring, Integration, Billing, and so on.
  2. Start with the overview / quick-start page of the service to understand its scope and the minimum steps to launch your first resource.
  3. Follow the tutorials for end-to-end recipes (creating a VM, deploying a Kubernetes cluster, configuring backup, …).
  4. Refer to the FAQ and troubleshooting sections when a runtime issue occurs.

Languages​

This portal is published in three languages — English (en), Tiếng Việt (vi) and 日本語 (ja). Use the language selector in the top-right navbar to switch. The structure and filenames are identical across all three locales so a cross-locale link will always resolve.
