FPT MongoDB Enterprise
FPT MongoDB Enterprise is a fully managed Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) built on the cloud-native infrastructure of FPT Cloud. The service is based on MongoDB Enterprise and is optimized by FPT Cloud to provide high availability, flexible scalability, and stable performance for production workloads, while removing the operational overhead of running MongoDB clusters yourself.
Highlights
- Two architecture models — Single Node (for development/testing) and Replica Set (Primary + Secondary nodes with automatic failover) to match different workload requirements.
- Built-in operational components — centralized monitoring, logging, automated backup/restore, and alerting cover the full lifecycle of the database cluster.
- Online resource scaling — increase or decrease CPU, RAM, and storage without service interruption (Auto Vertical Scaling).
- Multi-layer security — network isolation (VPC), data encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access control (RBAC), and tenant-level isolation.
- Self-service provisioning — create, view, operate, upgrade, and tear down clusters from the FPT Console Portal or via OpenAPI.
- Backup & Restore — managed backup jobs, point-in-time recovery, and cluster restore options.
- Observability — real-time metrics (CPU, memory, storage, query throughput), event logs, and notification channels.
