Create a Secret Engine

A Secret Engine is the component that manages and stores Secrets inside a Vault. Each Secret Engine has its own mount point and can contain multiple Secrets in Key/Value format.

  1. On Key Vault Management, select the Key Vault to add a Secret Engine to.

  2. Open the Secret tab and click Create.

  3. On the Create New Secret Engine screen, enter the required information.

  4. Click Create to finish. The system sends a confirmation message and creates the new Secret Engine.
