📄️ FPT Monitoring – IP Access Control
IP Access Control is a security feature of FPT Cloud Monitoring that lets you set up and manage a list of external IP addresses allowed to access each FPT Cloud Monitoring endpoint in your workspace.
📄️ Initial setup
If this is your first time using FPT Monitoring, complete the following steps before proceeding:
📄️ Create account and log in
To start using FPT Monitoring, you need to log in to FPT Portal.
📄️ Overview
The IP Access Control feature is a security capability of FPT Cloud Monitoring that lets you set up and manage a list of external IP addresses permitted to access each internal FPT Cloud Monitoring endpoint in your workspace.
📄️ Access the feature
1. In FPT Cloud Console Portal, open the FPT Cloud Monitoring workspace you want to configure, and select the IP Access Control tab.
📄️ Manage the whitelist
The IP Access Control feature manages whitelisted IPs by FPT Cloud Monitoring system component for each workspace, covering:
📄️ View the whitelist
Each endpoint (Dashboard, Metric, Log, Trace) has its own IP table.
📄️ Add New Whitelisted IP
1. Click the Whitelist IP/Range button on the corresponding table.
📄️ Remove a whitelisted IP
1. Select one or more whitelisted IPs, then click Remove.
📄️ Retry Failed IP
Applies to IPs with the status Whitelist Failed or Blacklist Failed.
📄️ System rules
- By default, when IP Access Control is disabled, all IP addresses can access the system.
