Initial setup requirements

Before using the FPT Database Engine service on the FPT Console Portal, users must ensure the following conditions:

• A service contract has been signed and the following resources have been provisioned:
  • Project / Tenant
  • Virtual Network (VPC)
  • Network
• A valid account on the FPT Console Portal
• The account has been granted appropriate access rights (RBAC) for the Database Engine service

If you do not yet have a Project / Tenant / VPC , please contact the FPT Smart Cloud Sales team to sign a service contract. Contact information is available at FPT Smart Cloud Contact. If you do not yet have an account on the FPT Console Portal , please register an account following the instructions in the FPT Console Portal account registration/ section. If you already have an account on the FPT Console Portal , please access the portal following the instructions in the Access FPT Console Portal/ section. If you have not been granted appropriate access rights , you need to request the system administrator to assign permissions. Permission assignment instructions can be found in the FPT Database Engine service access rights/ section. If you have not yet created a Subnet to be ready for use when provisioning a database, please follow the instructions in the Subnet management/ section.
